How Can loose Stools Along With Vomiting In A Child Be Treated?
my 8 yr old grandson stayed 2 days with me. he did not eat any meat. this morning he vomitied what looked like small pieces of bleached out steak. his mom says he has not eaten steak in weeks. i put some of it in a baggie & showed it to the er dr. he said it was his stomach lining. did a KUB and said he was full of poop. i have been a nurse a long time and never heard of this, is it possible?
It could be due to gastroenteritis. As of now continue breastfeeding to keep him hydrated. If symptoms persist better to consult a paediatrician and start antibiotics.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
